What makes Orchid an ideas machine? Glad you asked.

1. Play Chords

On Orchid you play a chord by pressing one of the chord buttons while playing a single note.

2. Change Sounds

There are 70 sound presets (if you've got the latest firmware). You can cycle through each using the first encoder.

3. Performance Modes

Performance settings let you select whether your sound arpeggiates, strums, slops, or something else.

4. Bass

Want some bass? Press the bass encoder to turn it on. Play it in unison, solo, with chords or single notes.

5. Key Mode

Press "Key" to make every note play within the key you have selected.

6. Voicing Dial

Spin the voicing dial to walk up and down the octave, visiting a lot of expensive feeling chords along the way.

7. Beats

Pressing and turning the BPM encoder will give you a variety of beats to play to.

8. Full Control

Lock settings, cycle through options and customise your Orchid with each of the encoders.

9. Loops

Build out an idea by laying it down on 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 bars. Add to it by overdubbing. Like it? Save it.

10. Save Sounds

Create sounds on Orchid or Pistil (VST) and move them from one to the other.
